We are simply fascinated by folklore, and how stories are as unique to each region as flavours and crops. That's why we take our inspiration from the land to create ciders that are not only delicious but also tell a story.
From our classic blends to our unique seasonal ciders, We are passionate about creating premium, sustainable craft cider using only the finest locally sourced ingredients.
OUR ORCHARD
Where memories are made
Our property is situated just up the road from Oyama beach, with stunning views of Wood and Kalamalka Lakes. We cultivate a variety of fruits, flowers, and vegetables that are available for purchase when in season.

Folktale Cider is a family-centered environment where all ages can come together. We offer a range of youth activities, including a 17M Jumbo Jumper, farm zipline, chicken coop, and interior play tunnel.
The picnic area is dog-friendly for friendly dogs, so don't hesitate to bring your furry friends.​​

Our tasting lounge and café opened in April 2025 — a true labour of love, designed and built by our owners and their family.
Alongside our small-batch ciders, we serve specialty coffees, local beer and wine, and a seasonal menu inspired by local ingredients and simple, comforting flavours. Come enjoy good food and good company.
